Billy Stockmal, a Eagle Scout candidate, from Seymour with the help of his father Ben Stockmal and fellow Boy Scouts, planned, cleaned and prepared the Fountain Lake hiking trail. They removed all sorts of debris including mattresses, old appliances and litter. The property consists of land that was donated by Joseph Nesteriak and Town of Seymour property off Fountain Lake Road. It is a rugged trail in a heavily wooded area between Davis Road and Fountain Lake Road. It is open to the general public. A small foot bridge needed to be built to cross a small wetland area.
Here comes the bride…. she is Jennifer Barrett being escorted down the aisle by her father. The Aisle in this case is the Bladen Brook Bridge.
…Where Jennifer and Eric Bowen, both lifetime members of the land trust, will exchange vows.
Eric is standing in front of Legion Pool with a very special guest.
